We are Artec scanner specialists. Artec is a small, highly mobile scanning device. We don't need a studio or bulky equipment to scan, just a few metres of clear space and a couple of plug sockets. This makes it as easy as possible to fit a scanning session into a busy schedule.
Data processing
We also offer 3D scanning as a stand-alone service. For example, Affable scans have been used as the basis for special effects shots in the film industry. If you want us to scan but not sculpt, we will stitch together your scan data and provide you with a CAD file.
Scanning
We find that starting a sculpt from a detailed 3D scan of an actor or 3D object gives everyone involved in the approvals process the reassurance that your 3D asset is a true likeness.
